DO YOUR CONTACTS FIT?

We believe that a contact lens training and/or fitting is essential to determine the best contact lens modality, fit, and vision for our patients. This service is separate and in addition to your routine eye examination. If this is your first time wearing any type of soft contact lenses, we will take the time to discuss your expectations, including how often you would like to wear your lenses and during what activities you plan to wear them. This information is crucial to ensuring that we recommend the best possible contact lens option for you. Our team of skilled eye care professionals will work closely with you to determine the right contact lens fit and modality based on your unique needs and preferences. With our expert guidance and attention to detail, you can be confident that you will receive the best possible contact lens experience.

IS THIS YOUR FIRST TIME EXPERIENCING CONTACTS?

Here's the process!

1

Initial training on insertion/removal and lens hygiene.

2

After a successful demonstration of insertion/removal, we will send you home with trial lenses

3

We will schedule a follow up 1 week later to confirm the prescription or make changes if necessary.

DO YOU REQUIRE A RE-FIT OF YOUR SOFT CONTACTS?

  • You may or may not need another appointment depending on whether the trial contact lens is available in-office.

  • As before, we will send you home with trial contact lenses for the next 5-7 days.

  • We will schedule a follow up to confirm the prescription or change some parameters.

SOFT CONTACT LENSES REQUIRE PROFESSIONAL CARE TO ENSURE OPTIMAL COMFORT, SAFETY, AND CLARITY FOR YOUR EYES.

Single Vision Sphere:
  • These lenses are designed to correct either nearsightedness or farsightedness.

Single Vision Toric:
  • These lenses correct for astigmatism in addition to nearsightedness or farsightedness.

Multifocal Contact Lenses:
  • These lenses correct for both near and distance vision, making them a great choice for patients who are already wearing bifocal or progressive spectacle lenses.

Multifocal Toric Contact Lenses:
  • These lenses correct for both near vision and provide clearer vision for those with more significant amounts of astigmatism.

Monovision:
  • This technique is used as a modified multifocal option for patients who are just entering presbyopia or already in early presbyopia.

CONTACT LENSES AREN'T ALWAYS THE ANSWER

Factors such as corneal disease, high prescription, irregular corneal shape, or ocular trauma may make standard contact lens options inadequate, in which case we would recommend a specialty contact lens fitting.
